Where RV Felgers?
FULL TIME RV TRAVELS
Hello,
Im glad you are here and I invite you to check in every now and then to see what we are up to and come along to explore the USA!
I (Tania) am a professional family photographer and entrepreneur. I started my small business from the ground up back in 2012. I plan to continue offering services to my clients when I am back home in Grove City, Ohio. Until then I am excited to document my family while we travel full time! My husband Kevin is a remote cloud support representative for a bookkeeping business. We are so thankful that He can continue to work while we are on the road and its one of the main reasons we were able to make this happen!
We have a 1 year old son, Merrick, who is pretty happy to tag along! He is almost able to walk but is a fast crawler and recently discovered he can climb! His best friend is Tirzah, our 8 year old cocker spaniel, and they get into all kinds of mischief together.
FAQ
Are you selling your house?
Actually part of the logistics to making this life work is by keeping our home and renting it out as a vacation home. You can check it out here.
What RV do you have?
We have a 2002 Gulfstream Sun Voyager Class A. We lovingly refer to him as Baloo! He boasts 3 slides, 37ft length, and a spacious bedroom that triples as Merrick's nursery, Kevin's office, and of course our bed! Kevin put a good amount of work into fixing up some mechanics like the slide hydraulics and Tania has been hard at work remodeling the interior like painting the kitchen and storage cabinets, backsplash, and bathroom floor and walls. With our timeline dwindling we may have to do some other projects on our list while on the road.
Where do you plan to go?
Our maiden voyage begins by visiting family in northern Ohio and makin our way to Michigan for the summer going up to the UP and around down in to IL to visit family there. We will then make our way back through Ohio on our way to PA, VA, NY for the fall colors and back to Ohio once again for the holidays. Then in the new year make our way south visiting friends and family in the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. Then spend the rest of the winter on the southern boarder, AL, LA, TX and go North for Spring and Summer in the West and WA and OR Coast. From there who knows!
How can you afford RVing full time?
Kevin will still be working full time to cover our normal expenses and we are hoping our home will book as a short term rental well enough to cover the mortgage at the very least. We also planned ahead and got memberships through Thousand Trails and Boondockers Welcome which after paying the yearly dues each stay is booked free. If things are going well we may venture to stay at a campground or resort that is not in our membership but $40+ per night can get expensive! I may also create a digital/photo content store for some passive income too but Im not sure yet.
